G20 & G7 Youth Ambassador
Diya started her nonprofit, HelpingHER, while she was doing a bachelor’s in politics, at King’s College London. The nonprofit aims to support marginalized women in developing countries, sparked by her personal experiences and passions. Under this nonprofit, she also runs a podcast series featuring feminist speakers, advocates, and influencers to raise awareness on several women’s issues. During her time at school, Diya, alongside a team of other students, made it to the semi-finals for the Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards, under the Global High Schools category, where she interacted with global leaders and politicians, sparking her interest in sustainability and global affairs. Since then, she has worked for many
charities, to fulfill her passion for giving back to the community.
