Sandro Gozi joined the European Parliament in February 2020 as a representative of France’s Liste Renaissance party led by President Macron which sits as part of the liberal Renew Europe political group. As an MEP, he serves on the influential Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection, and the Committee on Constitutional Affairs. Prior to his current role, Mr Gozi was a Member of the Italian Parliament from 2006 to 2018.  He served as then Prime Minister Matteo Renzi’s Secretary of State for European Affairs from 2014 until he left Parliament and Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe from 2013 to 2015. Since 2020, Sandro has supported the G20 Health and Development Partnership as a Global Ambassador by helping to leverage the Partnership’s messaging to the highest political agendas.
