Senior Director, Multilateral Organization Policy, Gilead Sciences
Sara Amini leads Multilateral Organization Policy for Gilead Sciences, where she engages with multilateral and global health organizations and contributes to the development of Gilead positions on emerging global issues, such as policies concerning health equity and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) frameworks. Throughout her career, Sara has acquired multi-sectoral experience with insights into diverse groups of stakeholders. Prior to joining Gilead, Sara started her legal career in academic research and in a global multi-service law firm. She went on to work for the Government of Canada where she held various positions in domestic and international intellectual property policy (IP), including the negotiation of international treaties and trade agreements. In 2015, she joined the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and went on to lead the Value & Access team at the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Association (IFPMA) from 2018 to 2022.
